1. COOLING WATER CHEMICAL INDION 9077 Bio-Dispersant APPLICATION: INDION 9077 is a non-ionic and foaming type bio-dispersant which is recommended for use in cooling water system to facilitate the removal of microbiological slimes. A treatment programme, which includes the use of INDION 9077, can provide better control over microbiological fouling and improves corrosion inhibition by removing foulants, which impede inhibitor-metal contact. Moreover, clean metal surfaces allow better heat transfer and less resistance to fluid flow, which improves system efficiency and reduces energy demands. INDION – 9077 is effective when used in conjunction with micro-biocides and is particularly effective in enhancing the performance of oxidizing biocides such as chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine/ bromine release agents. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: Appearance : A Clear Colorless to Pale Yellow Liquid pH as such : 6.0 – 10.0 Specific gravity at 25 o C : 0.95 – 1.05 DIRECTIONS FOR USE: INDION 9077 can be added, undiluted to the tower sump or to any other convenient point in the system. The dosage and frequency of addition depends upon severity of fouling. Our Sales Engineer will recommend the correct program for the system. When used in conjunction with micro-biocides and INDION 9077 first and allow sufficient time for circulation through the system before adding the micro-biocide. LIMITATIONS AND HANDLING: Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If material gets on skin, wash with plenty of water. If eyes are affected, immediately flush with water for at least 10 minutes and get medical attention. Use protective clothing, gloves and goggles.
